Tricia Malley has been a documentary photographer for over 30 years. In that time she has produced three major exhibitions in this genre. ‘Departures’ – a series of informal portraits of travellers and workers at Edinburgh’s Waverly station, ‘Glasgow 1990’ - Tricia was one of four photographers commissioned to document the events of the ‘Year of Culture’ in her own style and ‘Tremendous Reality’ - commissioned by the Crawford Art Centre in St Andrews was part of ‘Fotofeis’ the first Scottish international photography festival. The theme of the festival was ‘Family’ for which Tricia chose to document the lives of the Cistercian Monks at Nunraw Abbey East Lothian. The Scottish National Portrait Gallery purchased nine images from this exhibition and they are now held as part of their permanent collection.
Some of her documentary work is also held by private collectors. Limited edition archival prints are available for purchase. Contact tricia@broaddaylightltd.co.uk for further information.
